DEAL ME IN: Rethinking U.S. Trade and Investment in Post-COVID Africa

As the world glimpses a post-pandemic future, Africa’s economies must come back stronger to head off rampant food insecurity and unemployment and regain momentum toward fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals. Trade and investment deals with the U.S. will be even more crucial for injecting outside capital and new technologies into the continent’s business ecosystem, and ensuring effective use of Africa’s abundant human and natural resources. These deals must navigate both longstanding and more recent obstacles to ultimately transform high-potential enterprises into mature and reliably profitable firms.

In February 2021, join Abt Global for a moderated panel discussion with experienced African and U.S. private sector players to discuss what it will take to launch and sustain trade and investment transactions as economies rebuild.
