Kirsten Schroeder

Senior Vice President, Digital and Data Services

Bio

Kirsten Schroeder is an executive with more than 15 years of experience in solution delivery, business development, account management, and sales. She has extensive experience leading development and delivery of digital, cloud, cognitive, risk management, and analytical solutions that enable clients to add value to business operations and improve market differentiation and customer satisfaction. She has worked with clients at the federal, state, and local levels to deliver mobile, analytics, Watson/cognitive, and cloud solutions.

Schroeder is responsible for the delivery of digital services for Abt’s clients. She manages a team of 30 system analysts, developers, and data science practitioners to deliver cloud-based analytical and case management platforms and custom solutions to support clients’ social research missions. Her Digital Delivery Team serves federal, international, state and local, education, and commercial clients, delivering digital services for health, environment, education, and housing. Schroeder focuses on developing and delivering platforms that use leading cloud technology, such as AWS, and deploying them with the subject matter expertise to yield sustainable and secure solutions for clients. 

Before coming to Abt, Schroeder was a partner at IBM, where she led a sales team and managed accounts that included the Departments of Education and Transportation, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Office of Personnel Management, and congressional offices. Among other successes, she led, captured, and delivered data center and cloud services (IaaS and PaaS) valued at $70 million for the Department of Education. Schroeder also led state and local business development for K-12 and state department of education clients from California to Massachusetts and supported K-12 solution development for clients in the Middle East. She also has worked for Coopers & Lybrand/PwC Consulting, SAIC, Westat, and ICF.

Key Projects

Kirsten’s current work focuses on the support and enhancement of key platforms that support our clients’ social research and assistance needs.  These platforms include:

  • ACE3, a cloud based analytics platform based on AWS which provides end to end analytics and AI capabilities
  • AMEE, a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Solution to support our USAID clients
  • Data Capture Platform (DCP) which supports Abt’s survey research work
  • Several other platforms that support Abt’s data collection work, including case management for COVID 19 and other infectious diseases tracking.
