Abt Global is a major player in malaria and other tropical health, infectious, and vector-borne diseases. We work around the world to counter emerging threats like COVID-19, diseases like influenza, tuberculosis, and AIDS; and vector-borne illnesses like malaria because we know that infectious and vector-borne diseases put global health security at risk.
We work in 21 countries to implement proven, life-saving malaria control interventions with the overall goal of reducing the burden of malaria. Abt Global is leading the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative Evolving Vector Control to Fight Malaria Project (PMI Evolve) that builds upon the successes of the prior project (PMI VectorLink) Abt also led that protected more than 17.6 million people from malaria in 2022.
The American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) Annual Meeting is the premier forum for the exchange of scientific advances in tropical medicine, global health, and hygiene. Abt Global is proud to be an exhibitor (Booth 419) as well as presenting a series of posters and panels.
