The Union World Conference on Lung Health is the world’s largest gathering of clinicians and public health workers, health program managers, policymakers, researchers, and advocates working to end the suffering caused by lung disease. This year’s theme – Advancing Prevention – draws on commitments made during the United Nations High-Level Meeting on tuberculosis (TB) in 2018, which promised to prevent hundreds of thousands of infections and deaths every year.
