In what ways can states build systems of coaching that can increase the capacity of the early education workforce? How can these systems be designed to ensure that coaching improves the quality of early education for all children?
These questions are the basis of Abt’s report on state systems for early educator coaching, which summarizes recent evidence on coaching-based technical assistance to early education and out-of-school time providers, as well as recommendations, based on evidence and practice, for a proposed statewide model of coaching for early educators in Massachusetts.
