Rockville, Md. – The Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) has contracted with Abt Global to conduct its Statewide Homelessness Landscape Analysis. The goals of this analysis are to help determine gaps in federal, state, and local investments in an effort to limit the incidence and length of homelessness, as well as to assess which community-based and housing-focused strategies most effectively and equitably address homelessness. The information gathered through this analysis will inform Colorado’s policies, investments and implementation of homelessness strategies moving forward.
Abt will examine solutions and program models through multiple activities, including:
- Interviews with leadership of Continuums of Care, homeless service providers across the state, state agency staff, and people with lived experience
- Analysis of Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) data from across Colorado
- Collecting and analyzing financial and program data from homeless service programs, other affordable housing programs, local governments, and state agencies, where possible.
Abt will then summarize the study’s findings in a final report.

Scammers might reference real job openings or describe fake opportunities that generally match individuals’ professional backgrounds, with the goal of establishing communication and eventually obtaining private financial information to defraud people. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Federal Trade Commission warn that employment scams such as this are a growing cyber threat.
