Diane Fraser

Associate, Health Research, Monitoring & Evaluation

Bio

Diane Fraser started out working in art departments for a marketing product manufacturer in high school and a consulting firm in college. After college, she began a career in non-profits, where she developed and managed communications, public relations, fundraising, and events. 

After leaving non-profits, Diane joined Abt. For over 18 years, she has used her creative skills to develop and manage communication products and materials for public health projects for federal and state government. Clients include AHRQ, CDC, HRSA, NIH, SAMHSA, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She brings a blend of critical and creative thinking, visual direction, and storytelling to develop evidence-based, user-centered content.

For over six years, Fraser managed the National Recovery Month website, developed monthly newsletter content, and contributed to audience research. She developed web content, social media, and videos for HRSA’s bullying prevention initiative. Fraser has created content and materials (infographics, videos, and web content) and conducted community and stakeholder engagement on CDC public health campaigns and studies. She brought her user-centered design skills to update AHRQ program websites and contribute to product development and webinars. For the Massachusetts DSRIP Technical Assistance project, she managed the website and developed content, videos and infographics.

Fraser has developed and disseminated marketing and campaign materials, technical assistance (TA), and TA products and contributed to public health research on eight HRSA projects. She has developed digital and print ads, social media posts and live events, newsletters, webinars, blogs, fact sheets, research summaries, infographics, reports, guides, instruction manuals, a text message library, and PSAs. Fraser is a PMP and uses her project management skills to manage strategic communication projects, plans, campaigns, and materials.
