Rodrigue Anagonou is a medical entomologist with 16 years of experience working on multiple projects for the U.S. Agency for International Development, the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI), and other publicly funded projects in western Africa and the Caribbean. Anagonou’s expertise is in managing indoor residual spraying (IRS) and insecticide-treated nets projects.

Primary care providers face multiple challenges, including underinvestment, workforce shortages, administrative burdens, and high patient volumes. They all are barriers to providing high quality and evidence-informed care.

CMS contracted Abt to conduct the 2022 Nursing Home Staffing Study, and our findings informed the agency’s 2024 staffing policy.

Qing Zheng, Ph.D., MHSA, is a health economist with over ten years of experience working in health services and policy research. His primary research interest is in healthcare quality and costs, with a focus on post-acute care, long-term care and population aging. Dr. Zheng has expertise with quantitative methods and econometric models to design and conduct program evaluations as well as implementations of innovative payment models. In addition, he has extensive experience in managing and analyzing real-world healthcare data such as Medicare claims, clinical assessments, survey data, and Medicare cost reports.
