2023 National Coalition for the Homeless (NCH) Leadership Conference

Join Abt and other homelessness response system experts for the 2023 National Coalition for the Homeless Leadership Conference, "Unlocking the Potential of Leaders who have Experienced Homelessness," in Washington, D.C. Hosted by the National Coalition for the Homeless (NCH), the event brings together service providers, system leaders, advocates, and people with lived experience of homelessness to learn from each other, discuss best practices, and share new innovations in the field. Abt is a community-level sponsor and will present findings from recent work. Don’t forget to stop by the Abt table on Friday, 9/29 to take part in the photo booth from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

As the World Burns: Homeless Advocacy During Climate Change

As climate change has disproportionately harmed people of color and low-income communities, creating inequitable effects described as the “climate gap,” this workshop will discuss the impact of climate change on communities of color, and strategies that address holistic change that reflect social, economic, and environmental transformation.
